Red Poppy Dark Background & Bokeh Effect Tablecloth

Vivid red composition with fully bloomed opium poppy. This plant is used in medicine since centuries and its benefits for health are well known. Opium poppy is very much admired for its beauty, for the bloom coloured in radiant red, yellow or purple, the petal's softness and the rich corolla architecture. The poppy that inspired this design was growing in a small city garden, at the mountains, about 900 m altitude. People used to stop for few seconds to admire the tall green-silvery stem, the shiny radiant red corolla that looked like spreading warm light all around. The original capture is edited in Photoshop to add the dark background, the fade gradient effect and slight Bokeh bubbles to create a smooth dreamy effect and to make the petals' red shine.
