Red Rose Lost at Sea Postcard
While walking on the beach on Long Beach Island, we stumbled upon this red rose, lost at sea. The rose petals, thorny stalk and green leaves had become dried and withered. The flower stalk is entwined with eelgrass. Three small seashells lay in the sand next to the lost rose. This long stem rose was washed up on the beach in New Jersey, as a storm passed by offshore in the Atlantic Ocean.
