Regency Ladies Vintage Calligraphy Bridal Shower Invitation
A vintage style bridal shower invitation with a Regency-era theme. The design features an elegant, antique cream-coloured background with intricate golden decorative elements, including a central oval frame that encloses a silhouette of a lady’s profile, reminiscent of Regency era portraits.
At the bottom, two beautifully illustrated Regency-era women in classic period attire add to the historical charm. They wear empire-waist gowns with detailed lace and accessories, including gloves and fans, enhancing the vintage elegance.
The text is all in an ornate script, contributing to the refined aesthetic.
On the back, there are the same elegant ladies with hand fans. They are from authentical Regency fashion plates, from "Ackermann's Repository", from 1817 and 1819. The ornate frame is from a 19th century New Year greeting card found among Sigmund Freud's family papers. They are now in the public domain.
