Repro Antique Mauve Majolica Rose Faux Relief Tile
The original tile reproduced here was made by the American Encaustic Tile Company in the late 1800s ~ so we could call this an American Beauty Rose. One of the prettiest floral majolica tiles we have. Note that, although the original is made from a deeply dimensional mold, this copy is printed flat and smooth, in the trompe l'oeil (fool the eye) style so it only looks dimensional.
