Repro hand-coloured Victorian Swan Transferware Tile
This is a reproduction of a rare hand-coloured transferware tile from the late 1800s from our private collection. It shows swans swimming amidst water lilies in a lake lined with tall grasses. Ours is not marked but our research tells us it is by Minton-Hollins, one of the premier ceramics manufacturers of the mid-19th through early 20th centuries.
