Some babies are so traumatised by the death of their mothers and/or the capture process that they give up the will to live. OFI provides round the clock care, trying to save each precious arrival as well as this great ape species in general. We downloaded several photos which was simple and produced a very attractive personalised card for our 11yr old Granddaughter.
I was concerned that the card would not arrive on time but Zazzle came up trumps and the card arrived on the day before her birthday - perfect! I didn't see the card as it went straight to our family in New Zealand. However they did send a photo and it looked excellent!
