Retro Deux Chevaux the tin snail Square Sticker

Own drawing, inspired by a vintage sticker of the Citroen 2CV, a model that (in France and some other European markets) had maybe a bigger status than cars like the Beetle. The 2CV was produced for some 42 years with minimal design changes. In 1953 Autocar in a technical review of the car wrote of "the extraordinary ingenuity of this design, which is undoubtedly the most original since the Model T Ford". It was described by CAR magazine journalist and author LJK Setright as "the most intelligent application of minimalism ever to succeed as a car". It was designed for low cost, simplicity of use, versatility, reliability, and off-road driving. (parts quoted from wikipedia) In the UK it was also nicknamed "The Tin snail", In the Netherlands "eend" and in Germany "Ente" or "duck", in Flanders "geit" or "goat".
