Retro Tropical Vacation Postcard

This Retro Tropical Vacation Postcard features a minimalist cartoon drawing of an attractive couple taking the trip of a lifetime! The mid century modern scene is set in a tropical airport. Mr. and Mrs. Tourist are posing in front of the floor to ceiling glass walls. After all, they want to document every moment of their vacation to paradise. Mr. Tourist is dressed in a black suit, light blue shirt, red tie, and black fedora. He is holding an orange suitcase. His arm is around his beautiful bride. She is wearing a hot pink dress. A bright blue handbag is slung over one arm. Not a hair is out of place of her pretty blonde head. It wouldn't do to travel by air and not look your best! Both of them are wearing colourful flower leis around their necks. Beside them, we see a stunning, golden skinned hula girl with flowing black hair. Miss Hula is wearing a traditional grass skirt and an orange bikini top. If that top could talk, it would say, "Hey! I'm a talking top and I match the orange flower in her hair!" On one arm, she has an extra Hawaiian lei ready to offer the next person to step off the plane. Ah, can't you smell the orchids now? On the opposite side of the glass, we can see the luxury, jumbo jetliner that brought the couple to their vacation destination. On the tarmac, 1960's style flight attendant is making her way to the building. She is wearing a form fitting, blue uniform and a blue pillbox hat. Yowza! That gorgeous blonde can offer me coffee, tea, or milk anytime! The sky a shade of aqua that makes you want to reach for the suntan oil! We can see the green silhouettes of palm trees and the dark blue silhouette of a plane flying among the fluffy, light blue clouds. Oh, I hope those poor suckers on that plane aren't on their way back to the daily grind! The inside of the card features an aqua background and simply says, "Aloha!"
