Rhodesian Ridgeback, Mediaeval Bestiary Art Notebook

Rhodesian Ridgeback, Mediaeval Bestiary Art Notebook In a sun warmed savanna yard, a wheaten Rhodesian Ridgeback stands lean and still, gazing out across tall golden grass. A lone tree and wide sky stretch behind it. The scholar's entry says its work is a keen and watchful thing, and this graceful dog looks ready for anything the plains bring. That steady watch of a hunter in the warm grass shapes the whole design. A large gold drop cap opens the name RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK, with a red subtitle, of the Savanna Yard, set beneath it over a small black ornament. A short scholar's entry in old style lettering fills the left column, and a framed window on the right shows the wheaten Rhodesian Ridgeback standing in tall savanna grass. A small gold emblem shaped like a sun marks the lower left corner. Wheaten coat, savanna gold, and warm sky glow on a parchment tone page darkened at the edges, wrapped in curling blue and red acanthus vines, red and gold flowers, four little songbirds, and thin gold rails. • Wheaten Rhodesian Ridgeback in a sunny savanna yard • Gold drop cap R, red subtitle of the Savanna Yard, and a short scholar's lore entry • Wheaten, savanna gold, and warm sky on a parchment tone page with a blue and red floral border • Part of the Mediaeval Bestiary Notebook Collection from Dog By Breed
