While on our way to see the lighthouse at Cape Blanco State Park, we stopped to see the Historic Hughes House. Nearby, we went on the River Trail along the Sixes River & saw beautiful views along the grassy trail with plenty of wildflowers. There were wildfires burning at the time & the smoke was hugging along the coastline, but it was still beautiful! Photo taken September 2017.
