Robert Delaunay’s abstract masterpiece “Simultaneous Windows on the City”. Robert Delaunay was a French abstract artist who painted in a style known as Orphism, a type of cubism influenced by fauvism. His art uses bold colour in abstract forms. In 1911 at the invitation of Vasily Kandinsky he joined the Blue Rider Group in Munich where his art became more abstract.
