Some popular destinations Entering Rockport include Downtown and Bearskin Neck, the tranquil coastal enclave of Cape Hedge, the historic, scenic residential areas of Marmion Way and Pigeon Cove. Rockport, MA has also thrived as an artists' colony due to its rocky beaches, quaint fishing shacks, and colourful fishing boats. Rockport is located approximately 40 miles northeast of Boston, at the tip of the Cape Ann peninsula. Rockport borders Gloucester to its west, and is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean in all other directions.
