This design features a painting by the English artist John William Godward (1861–1922), who belonged to the Neo-Classical movement. It shows an elegant Roman woman in a classical landscape playing with her pet kitten: she is smiling as she tickles the cat with a peacock's feather. The woman and her pet are both seated on a marble bench; they appear to be in a garden with the coast behind them. The kitten has ginger fur and the woman is wearing a red toga-style dress. The original artwork was painted in 1901.

The watch is beautiful! Exactly how I imagined the final product to be. It is very sleek and classic and it's a watch that only I have because I personalized the face.
The only gripe I have is that the buckle and the rim of the watch face are different colors and finishing. The buckle is gold with a shiny finish while the rim of the watch face is silver with a matte finish.
But honestly, the buckle and the face will never be seen on the same side of my wrist AND it's a fun trait that contributes to its specialness:-). The colors are a bit lighter than my original photo but it's definitely still acceptable! The quality is great, I can read the tiny words that I included in the numbers, which was my main concern. 100% would recommend to my friends and family!

I love Charles Russell art, and especially this painting of a bronco and cowboy. This watch is perfect with blue jeans and sweatshirts! I've gotten quite a few good comments when I wear it. Better than I expected! Amazing that a painting can be so clear on such a small canvas, but this worked out really well. I really like it.
