Rosh Hashannah - A Happy, Sweet New Year Tie

The Essence of Rosh Hashannah is coronating the Almighty king, which is echoed throughout the prayer services of the holiday. This is also echoed in the use of pomegranates, which are both royal red, and have crowns upon them. The Shofar is blown to announce the arrival of a the new king, and we eat apples dipped in honey in celebration and hope for a round, sweet new year, all of which is reflected withjin the imagery of this tie. This tie was hand designed in the Holy land by artist Tzvi Lebetkin and is part of a larger collection celebrating the Jewish festivals.
