About This Design

Rough Path Anniversary Card

Remodeling my century-old kitchen revealed a previous remodel where a whole new section -- possibly once a porch -- was added onto the house. THAT solves the mystery of the odd sloped section by the sink.... The joining of the two floors is a bit irregular, but it's still solid to walk on. Rough patches can still give good service, and a happy home can survive even with a crooked floor.

It was a lovely card, and I bought it for my 17th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, it was never used, because my husband died the night before, so it is still sitting in my drawer. It also took too long to get to us, so didn't arrive till well after our anniversary was over. The printing was fine, and looked very nice.
