Mediaeval Illuminated Manuscript ornamented with beautiful floral artistic items. It represents St Luke the Evangelist writing the Gospel. The winged ox is the symbol of this Apostle. The text is the beginning in Latin of the Gospel of Saint Luke, which relates the Annunciation, the announcement made by the angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary of her miraculous conception of Jesus Christ: "In illo tempore, missus est angelus Gabriel a Deo in civitatem Galilaeae, cui nomen Nazareth...". The little image represents this Biblical scene. The whole is beautifully decorated. A great spiritual artwork of Christian culture and history!

The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it. I am so grateful to the customer service team for the professional way they handled my order. I had this printed on matt finish card and I was really pleased with the quality. The colours were rich and the image sharp.
