Dating back to antiquity and continuously mined throughout the Middle Ages, the site has been transformed into a futuristic subterranean theme park and museum. Visitors descend deep into the earth to find a mesmerising world featuring an underground lake with rowboats, a giant Ferris wheel, mini-golf courses, and an amphitheatre, all illuminated by glowing modern light installations that contrast beautifully with the rugged, dark salt walls.
