National flag of Samoa The Samoan flag is red with a blue rectangular area at the top left, featuring the five stars of the Southern Cross constellation. It was adopted in 1949, and has a 1:2 ratio. Note that any distortion in the preview image is caused by compression artefacts, and won't be printed.
