Samoan Tapa Vintage Surf Skateboard

Olive green colour way. Ancient Samoan tapas are the inspiration for these primitive tapa designs used in the Polynesian & Hawaiian cultures. These types of designs were often printed on aloha shirts & pareaus for traditional hula dancers. There are three different pattern - colorways. Each board has different tapa designs applied to a unique wood; bamboo, diamonds, flowers, honu turtles and masks are just some of the elements used. Customisable to a large assortment of board shapes & sizes.

Had reservations about the print quality when ordering, but the graphics came out exactly as designed - the higher resolution the better (I used 600 DPI and everything was sharp). Extreme heat or cold could peel the decal a bit so make sure its in an even temperature environment. I'm only going to use as display, dont think the decal would hold up under heavy skating use. Printing was exactly as designed, 600 DPI PNG was sharp and gradients very good.
