San Marco Winged Lion Stained Glass Window Standard Apron

Saint Mark (San Marco) the Evangelist is the patron saint of Venice, and the symbol is the famous winged lion. San Marco lions are all over Venice, around the piazza (Saint Mark's Square), in the architectural details of clock tower, stone statues, the basilica, the campanile (bell tower) and the Doge’s Palace (the main entrance is the Porta della Carta). This design is a photograph of one of the beautiful stained glass windows of the cathedral in St Mark's Square and shows the detail of St Mark, the winged lion, and the ornately carved marble details and colored glass of the window.
