The Bancroft Library Presents: The Bancroft Library Presents: Rustic dwelling with chickens and coop in the yard set in hilly landscape with numerous oak and pine trees. A small outbuilding is visible in the trees beyond and the foothills and peak of Mt. Saint Helena rises in the distance. Mountain Home Ranch Road still exists in Calistoga, CA. Painted by Virgil Williams in 1874.
