Sanada's Six Coins Baby Bodysuit

The Sanada Roku-Monsen or Zenimon is a family crest. It is referred to as "Sanada Zenisen" in "Heian Monkan" and "Mon Den", and as "Sanada Roku-Monsen" in "Mon no Kokorozashi" and "Nihon no Monsho". In "Jomon no Kenkyu", it is referred to as "Shinano Sanada Roku-Mon Rensen", and in "Kamon no Jiten", it is referred to as "Roku-Rensen". Mumbusen refers to coins with only a square hole, like this design. The Sanada clan is particularly famous for using Mumbusen, which symbolizes the six coins needed after death. The six coins represent the six paths of Buddhism: hell, hungry spirits, animals, asura, humans, and heaven. The six coins are said to be offered to the Jizo Bodhisattva, who guides the deceased through the six
