Scenic Byway 12 Utah Fall Card

Scenic Byway 12 is one of the most scenic byways in the USA and has been for years. It starts at Red Canyon, just before Bryce Canyon and makes its way over Boulder Mountain and down into Capitol Reef National Park. As you head down the mountain, you will find a wonderland of trees dotting the hillsides and mountains such as colourful aspens, pines, spruce, and fir. The mid elevation provides pinyon pine and juniper. This photograph was taken near the Larb Hollow Overlook in the middle of the fall change.
