Scituate Lightkeeper's House Tile
A painting of the lighthouse keeper's house and lighthouse on Cedar Point in Scituate, Massachusetts. The lighthouse sits at the entrance of Scituate Harbor. It was built in 1811 and is the eleventh lighthouse built in the United States (fifth oldest in New England). Scituate light was constructed using granite blocks to support the copper beacon. It is most famous for being the site where the daughters of the lighthouse keeper, Abigail and Rebecca Bates, fooled invading British troops into thinking the militia had arrived by playing a fife and drum as loudly as they could. They became known as the War of 1812's "American Army of Two".

My fiancé and I were happy when we received the tile. It’s Peru and was worth paying extra for expressing postage. Good quality and it is exactly like we wanted it. We are very pleased.

Just perfect for my needs. I want to use it in my garden as a little memorial to my Nana whose name was Iris :). Printing is just great :)
