This scripture verse from Exodus 14:14 pairs nicely with this image. It is a statement made while the LORD, Yahweh (YWH - He Who Causes That-Which-Is To Be & He Who Causes That-Which-Can't-Be To Fall) of deliverance. They were not just delivered, but went out with an abundance given to them by from those who held them captive. What do you need deliverance from? If you remain in me (YWH) and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you - John 15:7. The key is in this verse. The Israelites cried out to God and he heard their cries. God can only hear you when you are in humility. Pride is a wall that separates us from God. I Chronicles 7:14 - if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Being still means to not do in your own understand. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.- Proverbs 3:5-6
