JIRP student Donovan Dennis took this photograph while out on a field trip in the crevasse zone above the Vaughan Lewis Icefall on the Juneau Icefield in Alaska. The Juneau Icefield Research Program has been studying the glaciers of Southeast Alaska while training the earth scientists of tomorrow since 1946.
