Sears Tower Architectural Drawing Poster
"On the Shoulders of Giants" is a gutter-punk's view of the imposing Sears Tower. Don't get me started on that "Willis Tower" nonsense. The print was painstakingly yet lovingly hand-drawn in ink on vellum by an architect (me) before being scanned into Photoshop, where the colourful background illustrations were added. Architect Bruce Graham and engineer Fazlur Kahn of SOM put Chicago on the map with this skyscraper. I've lived in Chicago for 6 years and I still get all warm-and-fuzzy when I look up at it.
