About This Design

Second Beatitude Size 8.5x11 Poster

These are the words included on the bottom of the artwork: Second Beatitude: “Blessed are the Mourners, for they will be consoled.” “Mourning” • A Barbara Smits Artwork ©2023. I have used my artwork, "Mourning," to illustrate the Second Beatitude from the Bible. The image is an 8.5 x 11 and is self-matted with a white paper border and a gold inner frame and can be framed as is. There are eight Beatitudes in the Bible, and my series includes all eight plus an ending artwork, so there are nine images in the series and they can be purchased and hung together. The image should be purchased as an 8.5 x 11 in order to print properly. I will also be selling 8x10 and 11x14 sizes in the same artwork, and they should only be purchased in that size.

I originally ordered this print in a larger size but was not pleased with the clarity of it. When I contacted Zazzle, they responded really quickly and were very helpful. I was able to reorder the print in a smaller size and it was shipped to me within a couple of weeks. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it. I am so grateful to the customer service team for the professional way they handled my order. I had this printed on matt finish card and I was really pleased with the quality. The colours were rich and the image sharp.
