Séguy’s Art Deco Pink and White Flower Cushion

Eugène Alain Séguy was a French entomologist who specialised in Diptera. He held a chair of entomology at the Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris from 1956 -1960. Seguy was active predominantly in Paris between 1900 until the early 30s. From the turn of the 20th century through the 1920s, the Art Deco French designer and author created a wondrous collection of colourful illustrations inspired by the natural world. His work was originally designed for textiles and wallpaper.

Excellent quality, strong fabric and arrived here earlier than expected . Living in the South Pacific I was worried it wouldnt get here in time. Love it! The design, colours and words were just as I expected. Very bold, clear and beautiful. The printing of one of the letters was a bit blurry but hardly noticeable. Love this product!

This is one of the most comfortable throw pillows I have ever had. It is so incredibly soft. Everyone in the family fights over who gets to use it, even the dog. Most of the other pillows end up on the floor when she gets on the couch but not this one. She loves it too! The photos turned out great on this pillow. I'd definitely purchase another one.
