What it's like having Sensory Processing Disorder or SPD (also called Sensory Integration Disorder) if you're hypersensitive to sensory input. People with SPD are of course individuals and have their differences so not everyone with SPD will have all the same issues to deal with. You don't have to have autism to have SPD but everyone on the autism spectrum has sensory processing disorder. Also, it doesn't affect intelligence but can cause learning challenges. You do not outgrow SPD so adults have it as well as children.
