Shakespeare Sonnet 97 (XCVII) on Parchment Napkin

What would life be without poetry in general - or Shakespeare in particular? A while back, I decided to make products using Shakespeare's sonnets, but I felt my design was a bit unfulfilled at the time, so I revamped it a bit to something more to my liking. Traditional yet original. The background is a parchment texture I made a while back, and I also found a calligraphic typeface for it that has the almost unique feature of having both historical gravity as well as modern legibility. Obviously there are lots of sonnets to get through, so if you like this design, but cannot find your favourite work by the bard already made in it, please email me at mail@galleryhakon.com to let me know and I'll get to it right away. This particular one is sonnet 97 (XCVII), which reads: Those parts of thee that the world's eye doth view How like a winter hath my absence been From thee, the pleasure of the fleeting year! What freezings have I felt, what dark days seen! What old December's bareness everywhere! And yet this time removed was summer's time; The teeming autumn, big with rich increase, Bearing the wanton burden of the prime, Like widow'd wombs after their lords' decease: Yet this abundant issue seemed to me But hope of orphans, and unfathered fruit; For summer and his pleasures wait on thee, And, thou away, the very birds are mute: Or, if they sing, 'tis with so dull a cheer, That leaves look pale, dreading the winter's near.

Excellent detail. The party concept was barbershop conversations. Napkins were half folded, placed along other objects. Will I reorder again, surely will be. Next concept, I can't tell you.🙂 Thanks .
