"Shinjuku Angel" Greeting Card
Shinjuku Angel - I went to Japan a few months back (had a FANTASTIC time) - and was struck by the hyper urban style and energy of Tokyo. We had a great night out in Shinjuku which is a crazy nightspot by the busiest trainstation in the world. This inspired this painting - "Shinjuku Angel" - I've always thought that urban faeries and angels would hang out around the human crossroads of trainstations. This was fun to paint - all that neon! Shinjuku Angel looks a little overwhelmed, a little lost - but dressed to the hilt and with a great attitude - reflections of Shinjuku itself. Made from my own original acrylic painting.

We downloaded several photos which was simple and produced a very attractive personalised card for our 11yr old Granddaughter.
I was concerned that the card would not arrive on time but Zazzle came up trumps and the card arrived on the day before her birthday - perfect! I didn't see the card as it went straight to our family in New Zealand. However they did send a photo and it looked excellent!
