Shire Horses at Ploughing Match Watercolour sketch Poster

This watercolour painting is based on sketches I made during a local Kentish Ploughing match. It was like taking a step back in time watching the horses steadily pulling the plough guided by the patient ploughman. I was impressed by these two horses quietly waiting their turn to be fitted to the plough. I have added my favourite Payne's very sky, so often seen in the Autumn and Spring, with Seagulls contrasting again the clouds. This fits best on a square canvas.
