Simons Gorgeous Neon Sign Poster
Legendary north side watering hole that has been around since the 1930's. Located on Clark street in Chicago's Andersonville neighbourhood. It's neon sign is one of the most beautiful in the Chicago area. We have also posted a video of this sign on our ChiTownView You Tube station. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wC0dYqkFbOY&list=PL79FB2EA9F6A7E993 I'm kind of a “nut” for neon signs and think they are one of mnas most beautiful creations. They are also a vanishing form of signage that will probably soon be extinct. I have been photographing them in and around the Chicago area off and on for almost thirty years.
