Single Julia Crop Circle Magnet
This crop circle, made of 17 various sized circles, appeared in England just outside of Stonehenge in Wiltshire, England in 1996. It is known as the "Single Julia" crop circle because it closely resembles the Julia Set mathematical fractal. Was it created by aliens or mankind? Either way, it's a stunning example of earth art and is based on complex mathematical equations. This photograph is in the public domain.
