Sir Galahad (by George Frederick Watts) Medium Gift Bag

This design features a painting by the British symbolist artist George Frederick Watts (1817–1904). It depicts Sir Galahad, a mythological mediaeval knight of King Arthur's Round Table. He is depicted as a young man in a full suit of armour as he leads his white horse through an overgrown English forest. Sir Galahad's helmet is strapped to his back and his sword is sheathed in its scabbard. Sir Galahad was one of the three achievers of the Holy Grail in Arthurian legend. He is the illegitimate son of Sir Lancelot du Lac and Lady Elaine of Corbenic and is renowned for his gallantry and purity as the most perfect of all knights.
