Skateboarding became popular in the 1970s and has had an increasingly huge following ever since. And we all know that those old school skater dads are just way cooler. Skateboarders tend to have brand loyalty and stick to riding skateboards by specific brands or parts that they feel comfortable using, so this board is meant to be more of a keepsake. Not all skateboards are created equal, and not all deck sizes work for everyone so don't be surprised when this board spends its days displayed and not used. That's okay! Many skaters like to hang up vintage skateboard decks, retired decks, or art skateboard decks to display as wall art. He will still think this gift is super rad. If you do want him to use this board out in the wild then you are going to want to measure the width and length of the skateboard deck of the person you are buying this for. You will want to order the version that is closest to what they are skating currently. You are going to need to know the skater’s deck size preference.
