Bringing skating, snowboarding, and skiing together skiboards have advanced to such a degree that you can now race downhill agains normal skiers, do hand turns in the half pipe, twist 720's off the ramp, grind the snowpark rail, float off piste riding on the back of the skis or simply spin down the backslope while interchanging skiing backwards or forwards. Skiboards are from about 75-115 cm in length, symmetrical, twin tipped, and wider than traditional slalom skis. The change in width has enabled greater weight distribution.
