The full-size dust jacket art from my illustrated novel 'Slaves of the Switchboard of Doom' (Tor Books, 2017). ...in which Dash Kent (freelance adventurer/apartment manager) and Nola Gardner (switchboard operator) investigate the mysterious replacement of Retropolis' Info-Slate switchboard, only to find that's just the first - and least alarming - effect of a plot devised by an insane civil engineer; a plot that threatens not only the switchboard, but the all the people, both human and mechanical, who populate the great city at the heart of the Future That Never Was.
