Small, 4" x 5.6" Folded Holiday Card

Winter Wonderland , Norway. In the old folklore , goblins were considered important little helpers on farms all over the country. However , the farmer had to make sure not to make these shy goblins angry or dissatisfied . If they felt badly treated , the little ones would make life hard on the farm, disrupting all harmony. These grumpy settlers would not hesitate , if angered , to kick the chair the milkmaid used for milking the cows or let out all the animals as examples. To make sure the goblins remained happy and content , the farmers would among other things ,serve them warm porridge on Christmas eve in the barn. The goblins were shy and only ate when the people had left out of their sight. Happy goblins resulted in happy life on a farm. They would make sure the animals were calm and felt safe in the barn and they would prevent anything bad happening to the animals and the farm in all. In this particular setting ( the card ), the Corgis has the nerve to steal the little goblins Christmas gift...I guess they will make someone pay the price , yikes !
