This is a reproduction image of a painting from the series “Seashells” by Joyce Martin. Artist’s Take: I love this small painting! I painted it outside on a hot summer’s day, wishing I was near the ocean and cool air. The other alternative was to paint where I wanted to be! In this oil painting, I used a variety of colours and textures and emphasized the wonderful pink of the shell.
