Snow Leopard, Mediaeval Bestiary Art Notebook

Snow Leopard, Mediaeval Bestiary Art Notebook On a snowy ridgeline high in the mountains, a pale spotted Snow Leopard stands tall on a rock with its long bushy tail draped behind it. Jagged white peaks and blue shadows fill the sky. The scholar's entry calls it warm coated and silent, and its step is a soft and certain thing. That quiet beauty of the high mountains shapes the whole design. A large gold drop cap on a patterned blue panel opens the name SNOW LEOPARD, with a red subtitle, of the High Peaks, set beneath it over a small black ornament. A short scholar's entry in old style lettering fills the left column, and a framed window on the right shows the pale Snow Leopard standing on a snowy rock among mountain peaks. A small brown ink sketch of a paw print marks the lower left corner. Snow white, smoky grey spots, and icy blue sit on a parchment tone page with darkened, burnt looking edges, inside a border of blue and red acanthus vines, red and gold flowers, four small songbirds, and thin gold rails. • Snow Leopard standing on a high mountain ridge • Gold drop cap S, red subtitle of the High Peaks, and a short scholar's lore entry • Snow white, smoky grey, and icy blue on a parchment tone page with a blue and red floral border • Part of the Mediaeval Bestiary Notebook Collection from Wild Realms
