The Matterhorn is the focus of this design. At nearly 15,000 feet high, overlooking Zermatt, it is one of the highest peaks in the Pennine Alps between Switzerland and Italy ( where it is known as Monte Cervino, and in France as Mont Cervin). This photograph shows two snow covered faces, with the peak in a cloudless blue sky above a valley with alpine forest on the left and rock faces on the right.
