Snowshoes Key Ring

A crossed pair of snowshoes on a braintan leather background. There are several different styles of traditional snowshoes. Those pictured here are made of Ash and moosehide babiche (webbing) in the Alaskan pattern. Longer and thinner than some other styles, such as the bearpaw, Alaskan snowshoes allow for a more natural gate and are well suited for cross-country travel. The slightly upturned tips allow you to drag your feet a bit. Be advised snowshoes can make for excellent skies; generally at the worst possible moment.
