So very sorry and a sad guy card

To make these humourous men, I paint a blob of paint on the watercolor paper. Then when it is dry I look to see what features pop out at me. And lo and behold, there they are in all their silliness staring back at me! The sayings seem to scream out what they are trying to convey. They are all a part of the series “Funny Guys”. Nan Wright uses the 'limited palette' of the three primary colours for her watercolor paintings. This produces all the shades and hues you see in her paintings. Red, yellow and blue transparent watercolor in both warm and cool shades can be mixed to obtain any colour in the spectrum. She finds there is more control over the final results. Her artwork covers a wide range of subjects. She paints whimsically humourous, one-of-a-kind art to serious fine art. However, her passion is painting portraiture of animals and people. She loves to capture the emotion of the moment. Both subjects have their own personalities. This makes the end result very challenging AND rewarding. Her medium is watercolor.
