【Kokumochijinukinamini Genjiguruma】Wave pattern (wheel pattern) The 'wave with Genji carriage' is a crest based on the 'katawaguruma' (single-wheeled cart). In 'The Story of Family Crests' by Tsumio Sakazaki, there is a description of a 'dark Genji carriage with waves', written as follows: 'Old ox carts were made of wood, so when they dried out, they would rattle. To prevent this, they would occasionally remove the wheels and soak them in a river. The pattern of carts soaking in the river is called 'katawaguruma'.
