This design features the national flag of South Africa (officially the Republic of South Africa), which is the southernmost country in Africa. About 80% of South Africans are of Black African ancestry, while the remaining population consists of large communities of European, Asian and multiracial ancestry. South Africa has three capital cities: executive Pretoria, judicial Bloemfontein and legislative Cape Town. The most populous city is Johannesburg; other major cities are Durban, East London, Pietermaritzburg, Port Elizabeth, Soshanguve and Vereeniging.
