Soviet Victory Square, Bishkek Frunze, Kyrgyzstan Poster

Bishkek is known for its large stock of communist buildings from the Soviet era. Bishkek, then called Frunze, was capital of the Kyrgyz Soviet Socialist Republic. Some say Bishkek today is reminiscent of Moscow in the 1980's. Not for long though, as Bishkek is in the midst of a real estate boom. Modern apartment buildings and shopping malls are quickly replacing some of Bishkek's communist style designs. The Bishkek World War II Memorial at Victory Square is a great example of Soviet inspired brutalist architecture in Kyrgyzstan.

The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it. I am so grateful to the customer service team for the professional way they handled my order. I had this printed on matt finish card and I was really pleased with the quality. The colours were rich and the image sharp.
