About This Design

Spring Carousel Horse Post Card

Spring Carousel Horse Post Card

Pen and ink drawing with watercolor tinting. A fanciful seasonal carousel horse decorated for Spring, inspired by the "Philadelphia" school of carousel horse makers who strove for realism in their carvings. This exuberant palomino "jumper" is adorned with a basket-weave saddle, ruffles, ribbons and blue morning glories. Exemplifying its namesake season, this steed is full of spirited vitality: come along for a ride! Perfect for announcing a spring-time party, baby or bridal shower, or just to say hello to a special person! The card can be personalised, and the background colour changed to suit your taste.

Such a huge range of different frogs available, which made my choices very difficult and now the reason I have a whole draw full of cards and postcards! Much better quality than you can buy in the shops and they are exactly on the subject I love and adore too.
