Los Lunas, New Mexico Puppy I’d like to thank all the people that got this beautiful boy to his new home in Colorado. From the compassionate family that left this puppy wrapped ever so gently in T-shirts and towels with a companion Teddy Bear in a safe place in the hopes of finding him a home with medical attention needed, the devoted and caring staff & citizens in Los Lunas, New Mexico & the Valencia County animal shelter for saving and finding this shaking boy a home, the world wide web groups of people and the numerous resources of communication networks, the ever so giving transporter and teacher to a new mum, and health care givers and advisors. This bright white moon of a boy has become a permanent part of our lives in CO. He has been named “Luna” meaning “moon” in Spanish and after his home town. I would also like to offer the kindhearted family that gave this boy up for a better life, the opportunity, without judgment or questions, remaining totally confidential, to contact me – for you are welcomed to see Luna at any time. It took love to want to help Luna and to able to let him go to get that help. Thank you all for brightening my life. The vet diagnosed Luna with Cerebella Hypoplusin (sp), or in my easier words, intentional tremors. Luna has improved daily and the shaking is decreasing, even enormously since arriving in Colorado Springs on Saturday, March 8th, 2008. His muscle tone is great and he is in excellent health.
